Management reporting
Our Management Accounts are delivered monthly or quarterly via a clear & comprehensive report, which shows you progress against the plan and where we can adjust targets to ensure you remain on track to achieve your budget. The reports are tailored to you and your organisation’s needs, so that you have the information that you need to make informed decisions.
Cash flow Forecasting
We will create, manage and update a rolling 12-month, 3-way forecast of profit & loss, cashflow and the balance sheet so you always know what the future financial performance and position of the business looks like, based on what we already know today. This is about bringing the future into the present so you can do something about it.
Accounts preparation and corporation tax returns
We will prepare and submit your annual accounts to Companies House as well as your corporation tax return to HMRC. We like to start our work as soon as possible after the financial year, so that it’s out of the way and you can focus on what’s next for your organisation. We will also submit your annual return and confirmation statement to ensure your compliance duties are taken care of.
Payroll
In accordance with your required frequency (weekly and/or monthly), we will prepare and file the company payroll to HMRC and provide payslips to employees. We will also advise on opportunities to reduce your PAYE bill, such as the £5k employer’s allowance that is currently available to reduce your employers’ National Insurance bill.
Project reporting
We understand the difficulty in tracking multiple projects. We provide comprehensive reporting by project, so that you can see how funding is being spent and what budget is left to spend before projects reach their completion date.
Budgeting
We will work with the relevant team members in your organisation to build a fully integrated 12-month, 3-way financial model, budgeting the next financial year, with a detailed analysis of all income and costs.
Bookkeeping
We work primarily with Xero and Dext to complete the bookkeeping. Xero is accounting software and Dext is an expense capture system. We utilise these cloud-based systems to efficiently reconcile your bank account and record transactions in your accounts.
VAT returns
We will prepare and submit your quarterly VAT returns to HMRC using a 6-step approach. This ensures we never miss a deadline, the return is as accurate as possible, you are on the best scheme to maximise your cashflow and you remain on the right side of HMRC.
Financial Controls
We will undergo a review of your financial processes and controls to identify efficiencies and mitigate risks. We will provide a written report on our findings together with suggestions for improvements that can be implemented. We can also support in the implementation of any changes required.
